Adopt Me App - setting up API account

Create a new user via admin with a password from this site:

Click on the options button and untick "use punctuation"

For the user:

• first name AdoptMeApp

• last name API

• username adoptmeapp.api

• no groups selected for access

• System options > Set User Type for user

• From this screen search for the user that you created and then select "external api" and click update.
